Vacancies at CMM Accountancy (29 July 2020)
WE ARE HIRING!
We are looking for two experienced individuals to join our team; one to work in our accounts department and one to work in our payroll department.
ACCOUNTS SENIOR (PART TIME OR FULL TIME)
You should have at least two years’ recent experience of accounts preparation for small businesses, including limited companies, gained within a professional accountancy practice. You should be proficient with Xero, ideally holding certified Xero Advisor status. You should be able to adapt to change and be open to modern ways of working; we use a number of online systems so if you prefer to work on paper-based accounts files this opportunity isn’t for you!
You should be based in the Inverness area; we are partly working from home at present but candidates must be available to work at our office on a regular basis. The position could be part or full time, but would be a minimum of 21 hours per week. Salary will be dependent on experience. Interested candidates should forward their CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
PAYROLL SENIOR/ASSISTANT (PART TIME)
You should have at least two years’ recent experience of working in a busy payroll bureau, processing payrolls for multiple small businesses each week. You should be proficient with Sage Payroll and knowledge of Xero Payroll would be an advantage. As with the Accounts Senior position you should be open to modern, paperless, ways of working.
You should be based in the Inverness area; we are partly working from home at present but candidates must be available to work at our office on a regular basis. The position is a part time one, for between 12 and 16 hours per week. Salary and job title will be dependent on experience. Interested candidates should forward their CV to email@example.com.
We are an established accountancy practice based in Inverness and serving small business clients across the Highlands of Scotland and beyond. We have been active in promoting the use of online accounting software and related tools to assist our clients in maintaining accurate up to date books, helping them to make better business decisions and saving time and money in the process. In recent months we have been helping our clients negotiate the lockdown and the various government support programmes, while at the same time accelerating the development of our own systems to better serve our clients going forward. If you have the relevant skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude then we’d love to hear from you.
